All the negative comments coming from most likely 350 non athletic people who never played, but loved to criticise from there couch, yes Ben was reckless at times with the ball, but he also extended plays like no other quarterback could do
And you think it was all defense, how mouth the only quarterback in nfl history with 4, 500+ yard passing games, I repeat the only quarterback in nfl history, or how about the only quarterback in nfl history with back to back 6 touchdown games, but I'm sure you will rack that up to defense as well, fact of the mater is he changed the game as far as big tough quarterbacks are concerned, he had his nose broken in a game against Baltimore, and still beat them, he was great for Pittsburgh, great for the NFL, And great for football, so like it or not yes he's a first ballot hall of fame

Another massively overrated Steelers QB that will inevitably make the HoF because he got a couple of rings. He always played with a top five defense and a murderer's row of WRs, either Rivers or Eli would have been more successful on those teams. A bad leader on the field and a horrible human off it. Sexual assault aside (and we really shouldn't put that aside) there are reasons you always hear stories about what a scum bag he was. Shoot, even Pittsburgh legend Arnold Palmer hated the guy. I guess I can take solace in the fact his bust will inevitably be hilarious. I mean he's an ugly dude, and those sculptures don't always come out looking great.

Ben Roethlisberger deserves to be in the Hall of Fame first ballot! The last person doesn't know what he is talking about! Ben had one of the worse offensive lines in the NFL for most of his career. He was sacked more than any of the quarterbacks backs other than Brady. His toughness was the reason the Steelers won so many games. Ben was sacked 554 times and Eli was sacked only 411 times. Manning would not have lasted. Ben was brutalized during his career. The Steelers had good defenses under for half of Bens career. When Ben was at the top of his game, the defense was older and not as good. The Steelers have the 2 Super Bowl wins because of Ben.

He was blessed for a City, Organization, Skill Players, Defenses, and True Lockeroom Leaders yet he thinks it was all him. He's not a 1st ballot guy. If Philip Rivers or Eli had his skill players, his Oline, that Defense year in and year out the city would of had atleast 4 Trophys, Put some respect on that defense that kept the pressure off him bc they knew he couldn't handle it as he was irresponsible with the ball and his duties as the face of the franchise.
